Construction Environment
TLM Level 1 Award in Health & Safety in the Construction Environment / QAN 610/0219/7
This Ofqual regulated course is designed to support professionals in, or striving to work within the construction industry in demonstrating their understanding of Health and Safety with the Construction Environment. The Level 1 award is a qualification covering the common risks and hazards that are needed to understand, to safely operate in a construction environment. As a vocational qualification it is aimed at those wishing to gain a new skill, to better their employment opportunities, or gaining their Green Card.
Qualification
On successful completion of the course you will be receive a Nationally recognised
Level 1 Award in Health & Safety in the Construction Industry. This is the minimum requirements to conduct work on a construction site and is one step in gaining the CSCS Green Labourer Card.

Course Content (inclusive but not limited to:)

Principles of risk assessment for maintaining and improving health and safety at work

Importance of safe manual handling in the workplace

Importance of working safely at height in the workplace

Risks to health within a construction environment

Importance of working around plant and equipment safely

As the teaching and assessment is tailored to the individual the group size will not exceed 3 candidates. (Courses will comply with current Covid-19 Government guidelines).
