Reporting Non-Compliant Operators

Do you know who to contact if you see a dangerous vehicle or driver?

Fortunately, most operators comply with the rules and take operator licensing very seriously, however some are not as diligent and do not follow good road safety practices.

The traffic commissioners work tirelessly to keep our roads safe and promote safe passenger and goods transportation. Unfortunately there are bad practices and

dangerous vehicles out there but DVSA examiners investigate rogue operators
and report them to the commissioners, having them removed from the industry.

If you have information about any non-compliance, such as an overloaded lorry,
a bus with dangerously low tyre treads or a vehicle carrying insufficiently secured goods, please report it to DVSA.
