TLM Level 1 Certificate in Employment Skills for the Care Sector - Level 1 & 2

This qualification is for learners wishing to gain an understanding of the Care sector
alongside gaining essential employability knowledge and skills.

Course Content (inclusive but not limited to:)

• Understand Roles and Responsibilities within the Care Sector            

• Understand Equality and Diversity within the care sector

• Understand person centred values and work within a person centred framework

• Understanding individuals needs within the care sector

• Awareness of mental health, dementia and learning difficulties

• Health, safety, life support and infection prevention and control

Duration

Assessment methods will include Coursework, E-assessment, Portfolio of Evidence and will involve 160 hours guided learning with a total qualification time of 180 hours.
